Message from the NASC President, Bill Bookout – Data is Power!

The NASC Adverse Event Reporting System and the Ingredient Research Database are two essential databases developed for the benefit of NASC members. Learn how the data they contain are a powerful and valuable resource.

 

Ingredient Research Database

The NASC website has some new features, both for the public and in our members-only section. The NEW Ingredient Research Database for members only now contains scientific references for some of the key ingredients found in animal health supplements. Find out how NASC members can contribute to building a reference library that will benefit all members.

 

Regulatory Update

The recently held 99th Annual Meeting of the Association of American Feed Control Officers (AAFCO) included a labeling workshop sponsored by the Pet Food Institute and AAFCO, and a presentation by Bill Bookout on dosage form products. Bill has the honor of having been selected by the Canadian Veterinary Drug Directorate to be a member of the Expert Advisory Committee for regulating Veterinary Natural Health Products.
