Bill Bookout Returns as NASC President

NASC is very fortunate that Bill Bookout, Chairman of the Board of NASC Directors, has agreed to step back in as NASC’s President reassuming the role he held for over 10 years.  When the animal supplement industry was threatened in 2001, Bill led the efforts that resulted in founding NASC in 2002.  Since that time, NASC has become the leading trade association in North America representing supplements for dogs, cats and horses.
On behalf of NASC and its members, Bill spearheaded the development of cGMPs, labeling and claims guidance, the NASC Adverse Event Reporting System, product testing programs, the Preferred Supplier Program, and the NASC Audit Program to differentiate members that use the NASC Quality Seal.  Additionally, NASC has established and maintained excellent working relationships with state and federal regulatory agencies.  As evident from the track record under Bill Bookout’s leadership, NASC remains confident of continued success and growth in the future with his return as NASC President.
