Fromm Family Foods of Mequon, Wisconsin, is voluntarily recalling Fromm Turkey Pâté Wet Food for Dogs and Fromm Diner Classics Milo’s Meatloaf Pâté Wet Dog Food due to potential metal contamination.
According to the company announcement posted by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Fromm initiated the recall after receiving complaints of metal contamination.
No illnesses or injuries have been reported to date.

The affected products were distributed through neighborhood pet stores and online outlets throughout the United States and Canada.
No other Fromm products are affected by this recall.
Health Risk Information
According to the FDA announcement, metal contamination can pose a health hazard to pets. Potential injuries may include damage to teeth or gums and perforation of the gastrointestinal tract.
Pet owners should contact their veterinarian if their dog has consumed the affected product and is exhibiting any concerning symptoms.
