Mary Bookout serves as the Accounting Manager for the National Animal Supplement Council, overseeing all accounting duties.Her business background spans banking, forensic bookkeeping, accounting, purchasing, and customer service, providing a strong foundation for her current role. Mary also owned and operated a business in the pet supplement industry, managing all aspects of the company, which gives her a deep understanding of the industry and its member companies.
Mary graduated with honors and received several scholarships in Art and Design.
Mary grew up caring for horses in her parents’ stable and has always had a love for animals. For many years, she volunteered with her local Humane Society, cat spay/neuter programs, and Akita Rescue organizations, working diligently to find forever homes for abandoned pets. A philanthropist at heart, she supports numerous charitable organizations and takes pride in her dedication to improving the life, health, and happiness of all animals.
Family is central to Mary’s life. Her husband, son, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, and two rescue cats are the focus of her time outside of work.
