Sun City West, AZ — May 21, 2025 — The National Animal Supplement Council (NASC) is pleased to announce the addition of its newest team member, Gisele Atkinson, in the role of Compliance Specialist. Gisele will be responsible for tasks including new member onboarding, label trainings, website reviews, NAERS monitoring, and day-to-day member support. Her first day on the job was Thursday, May 1.
Gisele has over 20 years of experience in the human dietary supplement industry, specializing in quality control, quality assurance, and research. She has held industry positions with New Chapter, Inc., Renew Life Formulas, Inc., Council for Responsible Nutrition, and Arcadia Consumer Healthcare, Inc.
Gisele also has an extensive background in quality aspects of product manufacturing, packaging, warehousing, and distribution, and is an active member of the NSF Joint Committee for Standard 173 – Dietary Supplements.

Gisele earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Guelph in Ontario, Canada. She lives in Lakeland, Florida, with her son and daughter, and a menagerie of four-legged babies: Remi the mare, Oliver the donkey, dogs Guinness and Moose, rescue cats Cleo, Oscar, Felix and Bear, a parrot named Sweetpea, and ducks named Boots and Bucky. In her free time, Gisele enjoys hiking, backpacking, horseback riding, and “pretty much any outdoor activity, as long as it’s not under Florida’s scorching summer sun.”
